Mosquito season is here, and the City of Gaffney will be working to control mosquitos. The City’s Public Works – Streets Department will begin spraying within the public streets in June and will continue through October, to mitigate mosquito-borne illness. The City vehicle(s) will be clearly marked, and the spray times will typically occur in the evenings from dusk until approximately 11:00 P.M.
